We are very excited to announce that this week, Senator Miguel Diaz de la Portilla filed SB102 – The Aaron Cohen Life Protection Act in the Florida Senate. Representative Eddy Gonzalez is due to file the companion bill in the Florida House imminently. This bill is also supported by Senator Rene Garcia and Representative Irv Slosberg.

Hit and Run is a state-wide problem in Florida and we need ALL FLORIDIANS to act in order to get this law passed. This law will give drivers involved in an accident, the INCENTIVE to STAY on the scene and render the aid that may save a life! This is especially critical for Vulnerable Road Users such as pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, police officers, first responders, road workers etc.
